Reception of New Catechumens

Bartlett Catechumens.jpg
Today Sunday August 7th Holy Annunciation welcomed Josiah, Kayla Adeline and Ila Bartlett to the catehumenate. The Bartlett's reside in Orange City Iowa. We are truly blessed to have yet another young Christ seeking family desiring the fullness of our holy Catholic Orthodox Faith. Please keep them in your prayers as they enter this new phase in their journey.

Blessing Russian Orthodox Graves (Memorial Day 2021)

Christ is risen trampling down death by death and upon those in the tomb bestowing life!

PXL_20210531_205336895.PORTRAIT.jpg
It was a priestly joy to bless and pray at the graves of our loved and never forgotten Russian Orthodox faithful interred at Floyd Cemetery in Sioux City. May their souls and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon them. If anyone viewing this have relatives or loved ones who died in the Russian Orthodox Church buried anywhere in this tri-state area and would like their graves blessed, please contact me and I will be happy to do so.
